Strange - checked everywhere and can't find anything about the takeover being off. Think some people want our beloved Owls to suffer forever.
For God's sake just let due process take its course. It'll get ratified or it won't and if it doesn't the FL will give it's reasons. If MM thinks it's going pear shaped, he'll pull the plug! If HM can't do it, he'll pull the plug. These are accomplished business men who make tough key decisions on a daily basis, neither are afraid to say no or enough is enough.
Keep the faith and stop being so negative instead just have a snigger at the blunts losing again.

English investor and english run = might mean passion for the club not just a quick buck or a fantasy football club for them. i'm not saying there is any english investment around its just a shame and were all relying on mammodov and it doesn't seem to be happening and defo won't be this season now. Frecheville owl, why would HM sort out the club first. The business he had to sort out was something to do with the bank failure in Azerbajian a couple of months ago. While not affecting his businesses directly there were problems with other companies who supplied him services and he was confirming that their problems wouldn't damage his interests. HM's businesses in his home country is where he made his money in the first place so it makes sense to confirm all was ok there before making a major investment. I'm still of the opinion that no news is good news. If there were any problems the FL and the club would have let us know by now and I think the fact that we are sponsored by Land of Fire is a big sign that the takeover is virtually complete. I very much doubt HM would have put money into sponsorship if he wasn't sure of the takeover happening. Have faith, be patient takeovers take time.

The Reading takeover like ours has been going on for a while, only difference is that they were able to keep a lid on the press a lot better so the announcement wasn't leaked earlier than they wanted.

Brightonowl we are all singing from the same hymn sheet but i'm saying its too late this season for us to build a team to do anything with now. And that is a FACT. I really hope we do well and start challenging for the playoffs but until some luck and money come our way it isn't happening. FACT

It's far from too late. The window doesn't close till end of Sept and it's a long long season. Last Xmas Blackburn were down with the deadmen (and us) then they missed out on the play offs on the last day. Also look how palaces promotion season started

You say its "too late"? when nobody has even kicked a ball yet, and we are all level on zero points.
I remember not too long ago, Sunderland being about 11points behind leaders and on fringe of relegation zone at Xmas!
Thats about half the season gone/left and giving the others 5matches start!
But Roy Keane then took them on a run which resulted in automatic promotion.
So hardly too late when we have a full season ahead?
