I am all for being positive about the takeover and feel that things will come good but let's be realistic about the names we link ourselves with!
The striker from Sweden is more realistic but an unknown quantity, interesting to see that Modou Barrow is a Wednesday player on there!

Ed. Please scrub my last reply. Have now found the answer. It seems the problem is a general one of Central Azeri Bank overlending to the private sector and its potential effect on the economy. No specific threat of bankruptcy in the bank and nothing to suggest that account-holders are at risk.

If Mammadov is going bankrupt as a lot of rumours on here have said recently do you really think he would have spent £40-50M buying a club or would he have consolidated his existing assets and started selling off some of them to work his way out of bankruptcy. So far in the news I see nothing of him selling assets like his other clubs and I see a lot of news about him buying us. If he was going bankrupt you would have heard more of it by now and the FL would definitely not take this long to let us know that the takeover wasn't happening.

{Ed001's Note - are you trying to be funny? They have told you all that it is happening. Do you want them to come out every day, for those too stupid to remember what they were told already, that it is still happening? It takes months to complete a takeover. This isn't ADUG, who went and bought a player as a good faith payment (Robinho) while they were in the midst of a takeover of Man City. A takeover that was only just completed in time for the following January transfer window, incidentally. Some people are just so damn impatient, they expect everything done immediately, if it doesn't happen they whine like 5 year olds who haven't been given their own way!}

We're hearing reports that Championship side Sheffield Wednesday are set to sign Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Keiren Westwood on a free transfer. Sunderland confirmed last week that Westwood had been released at the end of his contract. On ssn good signing if true

Reverand & the makers singer put on twitter earlier he had heard that the takeover was off,he's pretty close to the club so may have inside info
