Talk of a top striker from sweden (Madou Barrow) for around 1.2m. can't see it myself we havnt spent a penny yet. Not been negative but really hope wednesday spend some cash and get some quality in. Uto

2.) What part of 'undisclosed fee' do most of the people on here not understand. Tom Lee signed for us after we agreed a fee, what that fee is hasn't been 'disclosed'. If it was a free transfer they say 'signed on a free'. I wish people would stop always trying to have a pop at Wednesday. We have money, and hopefully more is coming.

Grey has stated that we did not pay a fee for Lees
6.) He doesn't do the deals. official line from both clubs is "undisclosed fee" but feel free to crack on with the moaning it can only help

ssn claimed the fee for Lees was in the region of £25,000

The fee we paid for lees was the remainding 2 years of his contract, so unless he was on £125 a week we paid more than £25,000
10.) Stick a nought on & I reckon £250k would prob match his salary.
Leeds said he was one of the top earners on their books and that would be about right?

Told all you dreamers it wouldn't happen and now it isnt. Looking without the takeover tho
1.) Well bully for you.
2.) Could not care less about the takeover, we have now got a strong side with plenty of talant, sg has put together a team that will make the play offs
3.) I think a playoff position is possible this year - would be happy with a top 10, but the way our lads are performing - keep this up and anything can happen. Still think we need to strengthen squad we have but, we don't need to panic buy at least we won't be fighting a relegation battle, in fact I think we will be fighting a promotion battle. Do we really want somebody as dodgy as mammadov? And surely if he the club was 100% he was taking over they would have spent a little bit?
1.) What do you mean as dodgy as Mammadov, could you explain you thinking, as far as I can see while not being whiter than white (show me a mega multi millionaire who is) he isn't that bad. Dodgy to me is someone like Cellino, Bates, Yueng or the guys who ruined Portsmouth (can't think of there name by now). They are not spending any money as the FL could for some unknown reason not ratify the takeover. It is virtually certain that it will happen and would be very weird if they didn't ratify it but no money will be spent until he has his name on the paperwork saying he is the owner.
2.) I still think the takeover will be compleated before the end of the month, we will be o. k don't worry some very good players will be signing for wednesday very soon
3.) Get back to Co Op bank might give us treble stamps
4.) Hello Ashtheowl are you still here? What are your reasons for thinking Mammadov is dodgy, you can't put up a statement like that and not explain why?

We have no team at the minute but as soon as the paper work is all signed and seed mammodov will show his worth otherwise why would he pay �50,000000 for us. Only going to be 1 team flying the flag 4 yorkshire this season. Uto
1.) Loads of time yet for new players nearly a months, relax boys things will move when the takeover is ratified
Brightonowl we are all singing from the same hymn sheet but i'm saying its too late this season for us to build a team to do anything with now. And that is a FACT. I really hope we do well and start challenging for the playoffs but until some luck and money come our way it isn't happening. FACT
English investor and english run = might mean passion for the club not just a quick buck or a fantasy football club for them. i'm not saying there is any english investment around its just a shame and were all relying on mammodov and it doesn't seem to be happening and defo won't be this season now.
