Robbed !!
Clear cut penalty

Strikers and midfielders not able to head a ball and not even willing to challenge for headers. Also players not making the right decisions as looking for glory. Also some players jogging back not sprinting.

You wouldn't be pointing the finger at Mags by any chance would you. However he keeps a shirt I'll never know with the likes of McCabe & Corry waiting in the wings.

Which Mags are you referring to ?
I agree Maguire is playing below par, but he is still streets ahead of Maghoma. He can hold up the ball, he's got 2 feet and is one of only a few in the team that is capable of scoring. Maghoma on the other hand, cannot beat a man ( no good for a winger ! ), hardly ever shoots, and poses little threat to the opposition. He's not Championship material.
Here is the quandary - while we know we are sadly lacking in the middle and up front, we do seem capable of reducing the opposition to very few chances. And I don't think that's because we intentionally sit back. Away from home, we are more than capable of attacking teams - be it with a blunt sword ! Only a couple of teams have really dominated us in all the matches played so far. So, where do we go from here ?
From what I have seen so far, I certainly don't thing Taylor-Fletcher is the answer. Personally, I prefer Madine up top ! At least he looks fit !!
I do think Stevie May will get goals - but, only when we have a midfield capable of putting balls into the channels for him. And finally, while Semi's place should be guaranteed for his break-up play, Cokey is still the best "footballer" in our midfield. Lee has got to start being more influential - can't fault his engine, but where is the decisive pass !!
SG has done a good job so far with very very limited resources. His acquisition of Westy and Lees where master strokes. We just need him to find another Barkley & Wickham - I wish !
Tough job ! But let's stay right behind him because without the right backing even old Jose at the Bridge would struggle.
