I hope not we haven't had chance to see what he can do with proper creative players around him.

Yep I'm with you SWezFC81 I think he should be given at least one more season.

I think he will only be sold if he has asked for a transfer himself which I think would only be because he doesn't feel like he has settled down. From what I have seen and heard about him though I think he will want to prove himself after a hard season last year getting used to our league.

I don't know if you looked at all the goals he scored in Scotland.
There was not one goal that involved the opposing team making any form of contact with the player. That's in the 23 goals other than penalties.
Overall the marking was Sunday league, that's the reason he has struggled that's the reason why he has to be replaced by someone who can cope with the Championship, sorry for him, but not for the fans and the team.
He will do very well in Scotland but not in this league ever.
If he stays I would be very happy to lay any one 10/1 he does not score from outside the box before Christmas.

i doubt Rangers could afford £1m. Given their finances. We haven't seen best of May because we didn't play to his strengths. He feeds of clever little through balls and low balls across 6 yard box not long balls and flicks. Plus last season we asked the strikers to do too much defending and expected them to still be sharp when the chances came. I believe May can score goals in the championship as he did in Scotland. The standard is higher but the goals are the same size and they don't move

i doubt Rangers are in for May because they're signing Martyn Waghorn.

May let himself and all of us down last season but worth a another chance.

He didn't let himself down on effort and fitness though, he just didn't have that required level of pace, control, vision or finishing for the championship.

What worries me about the player, when he is bearing down on goal he tends to hit the ball with the inside of his foot.
The ball then slips away wide with this action, also taking the pace of the ball.Thats why he misses so many chances he simply fails to hit an eight yard target.
If he hit the ball cleanly at pace around the box he would be a far more dangerous player, someone at the club should get a grip and explain to him the basics.
He works the line well enough to get in a few more telling shots on goal, that would increase his and our confidence. No change and Stevie May will struggle big time.
Just take a look and make your OWN mind up then make your comment.
