Apparently announcement won't be made until next week regarding takeover and MM to remain interim chairman according to French newspaper LE quipe

1.) 05 Jun 2014
I love swfc takeover procastination, its always another week tomorow soon, next day! let's see how long this hoodoo lasts. !

2.) 05 Jun 2014
Just posting what it says in the paper and remember this is a RUMOUR SITE.

3.) 05 Jun 2014
Proof has been found (photograph) of Mammadov attending Reading v Sheff Wed game. This was in March when first contact was made between club and Mammadov. He was invited by Reading to watch game and came away Owls fan.

4.) 05 Jun 2014
Just another one of Milans feel good rumours!

5.) 05 Jun 2014
Another Milan feel good rumour? Milan hasn't made a comment! Just another stupid, brain dead comment from another negative so called fan more like. Think about what your typing ffs

What more has Milan to do?
He rescued us from oblivion, invested 30 million of his own money, protected us from dodgy investors, and may well have found us a proper investor - and still there is a group of so-called fans who bad-mouth him. Good job he doesn't listen to them : they would have had him spend us back all the way to the dark days of the past decade.

High Green Owl

7.) 05 Jun 2014
You say Milan hasn't made a comment? How do you know he's not said a few things to the right people in order to get the feel good rumour in to circulation? And as for saving us from oblivion? Did he? Who said so? Oh yes, a certain Milan Mandric. Funny that.

8.) 05 Jun 2014
Spot on high green, mm saved us big time and spent millions in the youth set up to get us on par with everyone else. We would still be in division one like another certain sheffield team if he passed us by. I for one say thanks mm for saving us.

9.) 05 Jun 2014
Couldn't agree more High Green.

10.) 05 Jun 2014
Well said high green thanks milan onward & upward in milan we trusted in hafiz we trust

11.) 06 Jun 2014
One of the posters above asks who said that Mandaric saved us. Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (who were preparing a winding-up order) and the Co-op Bank (who were fed up of our interminable debt to them)

12.) 06 Jun 2014
Well our Negsperts can't possibly argue against that last post.

13.) 06 Jun 2014
Please stop praising MM. All we've done under his guidance is become dead in the water. He stuck with DJ for a year too long and we are now facing the results of this and his failings to act. The sooner he's gone the better! Never have I seen our once great club in such a miserable mess in 52 years of following them. We've no ambition, no fight, no good players, no money, the grounds looking shabby and the chairman wants out. It's quite sad really.

14.) 06 Jun 2014
Agree, MM saved us no doubt. That same poster would have us believe MM also has sway over French newspapers & contacts enough to get rumours started over one person ( not an unnamed consortium ) taking us over? Get real man. MM lack of comment to deny these rumours is far louder than any comments you think he's made to get them started, for me it speaks volumes.

15.) 06 Jun 2014
To the one who said "Please stop praising MM". what planet are you on? Unless you've been on planet mars for the last 15 years we were saddled with 20-30+ debts, yo-yoing between Championship & L1, had sub-standard players and just before MM came in we were hours away from administration and near the relegation zone in L1 and had we gone into admin we would have been rock bottom on minus 10 pts and certainties for relegation to L2 and you say we are in a worse position NOW than we were back then, now that's utter rubbish, we are debt free, have a decent youth & development set up, a scouting network which we didn't have till MM came in. can't get my breath! MM has invested 30m on our infrastructure to ensure a long and prosperous future and if Mammadov takes over then we will see huge strides to get back to where we belong. THE PREMIERSHIP!. FFS how can you say you've never seen us in a worse position? admittedly he stuck with Dave Moans for far too long but for me that was his only error.

16.) 06 Jun 2014
Iv personally seen the club in a FAR worse state of affairs, and I don't need to tell you how long Iv followed the Owls for, because it is irrelavent.
I hope MM sells us on to the correct buyer and when he does he will have fulfilled his business plan, even if it doesn't agree with yours. Which again, is irrelavent.

Can't believe grown men actually believe this rubbish time and again. Season ticket deadline due?

18.) 06 Jun 2014
To say we have no good players? I rate Chris Maguire, Caolan Lavery, Liam Palmer, Lewis Buxton, Kieron Lee, Michail Antonio, Chris Kirkland and Gary Madine. We have a good core of young players now and with a few good additions we could be a force next season. Negativity is infectious and we don't want those kind of supporters at Wednesday!

19.) 06 Jun 2014
To say we are in poorest state in 52 years is the most personic statement I have read on these pages.
If you are a fan my guess is you one of the tools that ran/ supported Wednesdayite. None of them had anything between ears except fresh air and were key contributors to holding club back for 7 years.
Do you not read improvements made at Academy, it had been run down to a level well below that of Barnsley and Blades. We are now pushing on and have moved ahead. Write something sensible.

20.) 06 Jun 2014
MM has my thanks for what he has done, which was saving our club. As for the takeover I for one think it will go ahead as even if Milan has not said anything Mammadov I am sure would have rubbished any untrue rumours as it may destabilise his other investments. The fact both parties are silent shows an element of truth.

21.) 06 Jun 2014
Agree, one or t'other would be calling it tosh. Doesn't mean it'll happen but I bet there's some pretty in depth dialogue going on.
As for "worst state for 52 yrs"?! You've obviously been out the country for the last few years, either that or a recently arrived supporter. And "season tickets "?! Most grown men are unlikely to be swayed into parting with hundreds of £ just on the basis of takeover rumour, if they don't have one already they'd hardly gamble on a maybe yes / maybe no takeover to save a few quid. Get fed up of hearing this "season ticket " and " feel good factor " crap, think positive and get behind the club for goodness sake.

22.) 06 Jun 2014
Where's this £30m invested then? because it ain't in the team is it? Where's it gone?

23.) 06 Jun 2014
To the chap that remarked on season tickets. Well done my friend. You too aren't falling for the takeover tripe either. If and when it does happen the shallow minded supporters of MM and no doubt supporters of the top manager Dave Jones will then be on here saying told you so. Just like I've said after the feel good rumors come out that none of the takeovers were ever going to happen and I'm proven right every time. Told you so!

24.) 06 Jun 2014
I have never read a more Personic post. dizzying insight and unambiguous passion.

25.) 06 Jun 2014
30 million? Where the hells that figure come from? More like 30 quid. Or Is it one of Milans sweeteners yet again?

26.) 06 Jun 2014
People on about season ticket sales don't you think if this wasn't true a man who owns another football club would have come out and said "nope I know nothing about this rumour" so with mm no comment and mama not denying it means ITS ONN! Uto

27.) 06 Jun 2014
I for one can remember the media circus camped outside Hillsborough waiting for the winding up order. We had to sell Grant to keep the inland revenue at bay. We had no scouting system or decent youth policy in place. MM saved our club and has always stated his long term plans would be to sell the club one day. He stabilised us took us into a higher league. The season has not even started and some so called fans are mumping and moaning. If the rumours are right MM has taken us to the verge of take over and another step in the right direction to for our beloved club. The club in my opinion has been run well if you disagree look at the likes of Cardiff, and Leeds

28.) 06 Jun 2014
We lose £5 million a year he had to pay £10 million to clear debts, that's £25 million.

{Ed003's Note - Could do with you guys registering a name so we know who the hell is talking to who... plus it saves me having to check lol.}

29.) 07 Jun 2014
That's not investing though is it? That's called bailing us out and buying debts.

30.) 07 Jun 2014
I wonder why all these negsperts even bother supporting the massive, oh sorry they don't do they they're just piggies trying to wind everybody up. Wawaw

31.) 07 Jun 2014
I can't believe how stupid folk are. The money he invested was to wipe our debts and maintain the club despite yearly losses. It is an investment to him because he plans to sell us at a profit. MM saved us from administration, nobody else would go near us because the shares were that scattered that it was a huge headache.

32.) 07 Jun 2014
For those who continually criticise MM for lacking ambition consider this. He has pumped c. £30m of HIS OWN MONEY into OUR club. He has a family and other business interests to support. He does it for business, not for love (this is not a criticism). He saved us from administration FACT. We are in much better place than when he took over off and on the pitch FACT. He needs and deserves to turn a profit when he sells the club on. Good luck to him. If the takeover is confirmed next week and the new guy is the right guy then MM fulfilled his commitment. WAWAW
