Lots of rumours saying McGugan is almost a done deal. still worried about this so-called 20 goal striker . nothing even mentioned anywhere!

mexowl

1.) 10 Jun 2015 21:49:26
What's worrying you about this 20goal striker Mex?
Is he a really a 30goal striker in a scary strip or something?
Not surprised you not seen anything mentioned about him anywhere, looks like there's only you knows who he is mate if you're the only one that's worried.

2.) 11 Jun 2015 20:11:18
Oh dear

3.) 12 Jun 2015 14:23:03
Doubt mcgugan coming now with grey sacked Shame big shame on a plus note no Keane didn't rate him

We lost out on Cox to Reading and now Rotherham have had their bid accepted by St. Johnson for May. been given permission to talk to them in the next few days. Very sorry, but if Rotherham beat us to his signature also, then maybe our Massive ain't so massive after all!!

mexowl

1.) Absolutely shocking if that happens.
its been a cruel summer for us fans.

2.) Losing out to Reading is one thing but if Toytown are outbidding us then we might as well pack in.

Another terrible close season

3.) We are in for May, if he chooses not to join us that's his personal decision, for his own personal reasons, like Cox he "may" put his family first or something similar.
Even Liverpool, ManU, ManC etc with all their millions don't always get the players they want, the players do have a mind of their own.
If all goes according to plan this close season it could turn out to be the best one for decades!
And if it all falls through, we all understand why things have been so quiet with everything that's been going on - don't we?

4.) The short story is I think. Hm has been away and "his personal cash" he has invested in other prospects very very well. And while he away from bahglen group. they erm fxxxd things up. So the hold up is he has gone back to baghlen Azerbaijan to fire everyone at ho and hr etc and sort the books out himself! Prob to take his money out. that's what I got out of it anyway.

5.) I would suggest that if May chooses Rotherham over Sheffield he would certainly not be putting his family first.
;)

From the looks of things, the money from the sale of Antonio will be used to gesump Rotherhams bid for Stevie May from St. Johnson. highly rated Scotland under 21 player being monitored by various clubs. Very good goal per games ratio. Would be a great addition if it comes off! UTO.

mexowl

1.) 06 Aug 2014 08:32:03
I'm still not convinced he'll be good enough scored a lot in Scotland. We need someone that'll hit the ground running. Prove me wrong please.

2.) 06 Aug 2014 08:36:50
I said when I had seen the Rotherham bid go in for May that I would like to see us challenging for his signature. He has a very good goals to game ratio and yes I know it's in the Scottish leagues but he looks like a natural finisher. On the down side and a personal note I will be disappointed to see Antonio leave.

3.) 06 Aug 2014 12:04:41
Yes enugh for May and Tardieu. Heard their is a possibility a third player will also join before Satuday.

11 Jul 2014 07:40:38
MM reportedly happy with the business done this week and says he'll be bringing in another 4 or 5 quality players. I sure hope that 20 goal striker is high on the list. Certainly keeping his hand close to his chest! In Milan we trust! UTO!

Goochie finally been told to go and do one!! 'bout time!
According to Alan Biggs, there is a link with the experienced Keith Andrews plus Loovens and Semedo still in the pipeline.

Goes on to say "Can only guess what else. Scunthorpe's prolific young striker Sam Winnall, - groomed by Stuart Gray's old mate Brian Laws - might just be one attraction as the search switches to a couple of forwards. Luke James of Hartlepool has been another rumour.

mexowl

1.) That article suggests he is no more in know as folks who write on here.

I can add we are negotiating for some season long loan players from Premier clubs apparently negotiations wellunder way.

2.) 10 Jul 2014 12:28:35
Semedo has signed 2 year deal

3.) Is it worth taking a chance on leon best I know he is not a conner wickham but in the championship he might just do it for us

4.) I think he'll be on SG's list but hopefully not too near the top.
For me he falls into the category of could do better/more - he has the ability but. maybe at his age the pennies starting to drop?

5.) Ageed about leon best uto xxx

6.) Donny going for ishmeal miller and lita and obita. ? should we be going for these players.? uto xxx

7.) Diarra just left West Ham. He'd be worth a punt in a free. Bags of experience and great player when fit.

8.) 10 Jul 2014 18:23:48
Best scored vital goals last season and I think he would be worth a punt. Definitely more of a goal threat than nuhiu. Cracking up that somebody disagreed with my comment about Semedo signing a new deal haha. Uto

9.) 10 Jul 2014 21:04:15
I disagree with the best better goal threat than nuhiu, took him a while to settle but nuhiu looked a real threat and scored some important goals towards end of season

10.) 10 Jul 2014 23:17:41
Yes nuhiu did score some very important goals at the end of the season but for the majority of his 43 performances just labored around the pitch like a heavy weight boxer. He got 8 goals in 43 appearances compared to Leon bests 6 in 16. I think given a full season provided fit and motivated would of easily got 15

11.) I think we should test the water with Man City over a Loan Deal for Scott Sinclair because he hasn't had a sniff since leaving Swansea.

12.) Brilliant suggestion.
Wish we could pull that one off!

13.) 11 Jul 2014 08:59:41
Sinclair might jump at the chance to resurect his career as he didn't do much at west brom. Is like to see him at s6

14.) Not sure Sinclair would come to us, he is a Premier league player.

Bit disappointed we've missed out on Suarez, about as much chance of that as Sinclair!

Let's be realistic chaps eh! UTO

15.) Theirs nothing wrong with optimism after how many years we got a bit of money behind us so let's pray have fun and laughs about balotelli joining or de jong but as swfc fans let's not be stupid petty and immature and turn against each other! we got to join as one and fight abuse from 23 other teams in our league, let's support the massive for one reason only, because we are MASSSSSSSIIIVVVVE!! uto xxx

16.) Why is that unrealistic? We had barkley on loan. How about zaha while we on this subject.

Amazing top ten clash tomorrow Sheff Wednesday v Millwall! Who'd have thought that last season? One will go on to bigger and better things while, for the loser, it will be back to the drawing board. I'm just wondering, in the event of a win for the former, would this strengthen MM's hand to say no to this drawn out takeover farce and convince him to put his hand in his pocket to get us a bit of strength in depth and really make a go for the play-offs ( or. dare I say, automatic promotion?), or will it push Mamadoff's hand to get his hand on some money to make the deal go through, not wanting to blow the deal sky high of getting his hand on a true Prem prospect. Interesting times at S6 if we can keep this momentum going! UTO.

mexowl

1.) Do you think you might be slightly exaggerating the significance of the third game of the season?

12 Aug 2014 15:28:48
Giles Coke made the football league's team of the week (yet couldn't even make The Star's bench which was loaded with a load of blunts for some strange reason!) Nice to see that Beevers and Reda Johnson also made the team. Maybe The Star's so-called experts should stick to soft-ball!

mexowl

1.) Ya the star is useless no wonder no one buys it any more

01 Aug 2014 18:50:15
The season gets ever nearer, and here we are, still in the dark about the takeover and very light on the ground with the usual haul of crocked players unable to be counted on for the season opener! The story on that french wizz kid seems to have gone cold, we have a 29 yr. old awaiting his first full trial, but on paper seems to be even less of a prospect than COG, There's some foreign defender who we know nothing about, but seems to be catching Gray's eye and there's said to be another trialist on the horizon for the final friendly, v Tykes. Where is that 20 goal striker we've been promised? Will we have to wait till the window re-openning in January, when we're back in a relegation scrap? With or without the takeover, we should, as a club, be looking to plug all those gaps left from last season's clearout and be thinking of improving on last season's form. We do now have a solid backbone, but we need a few frills to turn last years relegation scrap into a much healthier season!

mexowl

1.) Blimey they really are shocking stats.
Should be wearing number 13, not 12.

2.) 30 Jul 2014 21:54:32
If you look on utube it shows him scoring quite a few goals in 2013.

3.) When he came on last night he looked to be sitting way deeper than the strikers.

Made a few nice balls too. I think we will keep i'm on a year deal.

Forget it Beauchief. The idea is to evolve and not hang on to the past. The guys in charge know what they're doing and hopefully an exciting and successful, new team will emerge this coming season! UTO!

loads of negative tripe from people trying to rock the boat before it even sets sail. The window is just opening and we have no real idea of who's coming in. As far as I'm concerned let's give these new guys running the club a chance to show what they can do. Another season of mid-table security and unattractive football, trying to play safe, doesn't really appeal to me so big changes had to be made!
