Hillsborough football ground to have work done improving it. Source a relative works for company who's gunna be doing it. Wawaw

All summer, nothing happens. First game at Hillsborough less than a week away so they start work on it, strange!

6.) Nothing wrong with that Theowl. It's nice to hear a rumour that's not transfer or 'R'related. Obviously minor work can be done throughout the season, it's not like we are going to start ripping the Leppings lane end down. UTO

Kieron Westwood to sign on a free transfer. Source ssn transfer centre
1.) Done deal. 2 year contract
2.) Hopefully this will put an end to all the comments about the takeover failing and us having to settle for signing cheap rubbish and also will hopefully mean NDS will be quiet too. He will be a free signing though so he can't be that good :)
3.) He is a free as he is out of contract, not because he is rubbish
4.) Two players went for medicals today. Believe other one was Hutchinson.
Also staff at Hillsbough have been told Mmmadov is visiting this week and wants to meet them.
The money has arrived and green light given for spending to start.
5.) Takeover must be done. Westwood has signed which must mean Kirkland is going which is sad been a quality keeper for us. Also seen a pic of the new kit with the "Azerbaijan Land of Fire" logo looks decent. Good signing.
6.) To be fair to nds he hasn't made many comments at present. But (somtimes) he does have some valid points. Not always but sometimes. Think westwood is going to be good cover for kirkland. I've heard decision has been done and will be official by thursday.
7.) EdaleOwl, I think you missed my attempt at humour. A lot of people on here have commented in the past that if we don't pay a fee for a player then they are bad players and we could do better. I personally think Westwood is a great signing and a sign we are moving in the right direction.
