Michail Antonio is leaving the owls? He has gone to Nottingham forest for a medical today and will join the trees on a 3year deal, whole transfer could be completed in the next 48 hours the transfer fee will be around 400k with Simon Cox coming to S6. Bad decision by Stuart Gray!

Oliver you say he leaving with a question mark, so you don't know really, then you state the deal! I cannot find this info anywhere try backing up with proof, have you a crystal ball? 14.04

2.) If true - good business.
SG has stated in the past that MA is not too intelligent as a footballer, so obviously not his type, maybe he can't get through to him, therefore can't seem him making the necessary progress.

Good lad bi strong and quick, but makes too many bad decisions.

3.) Forrest site says - Cox going to Reading for £600k and seems they are glad to see him go.

Also says they've been after Albert Adohma to add pace to their attack and bid up to £3. 5 Mil. Antonio a cheap alternative?

Hope not he's looked good in preseason and wouldn't be far off Cox's goal tally from midfield! Hopefully not panic business cause the takeover won't happen before the window shuts.

5.) Sorry can't see that happening, were already short on players & can't buy any so why sell one. and for a massive loss as we paid £1m for him!

7.) Done a bit of research on the web and found that antonio is supposed to be high on the target list of notts forest but an offer will only be made if they can sell cox and loan or sell mackie

1.5 to 2 mill according to the paper, Maybe gives interim funds, I like Antonio, but we need a striker

12.) Providing SG gets the all the funds to bring in a quality striker, this could be a good move. Cox is not quality though, so hope he's not part of an exchange deal.
Liked the strength and directness of Antonio, but in the Championship a little more savvy is needed. He does frustrate, and does not provide the sort of service that strikers thrive on. Can imagine SG being frustrated with Antonio's decision making in the final third.
Just hope we have a " proper " replacement lined up

14.) So we get tardieu and ben marshall as a replacement. And matt phillips after the r xx xx xx xx. can't say it anymore. But I don't think that's such a bad deal tbh. although all 4 of them i'd prefer as competition. As I've noticed we building from the back upwards. In sg I trust. Think he may have a few tricks up his sleeves yet.

If I remember rightly, we got Antonio for 800,000 pounds, so basically we're doubling our money which, if used correctly , could fill a couple of gaps before the new season. The takeover is taking far too long so we need to look for other ways of bringing in new recruits. It's something we'd have probably done had MM not sold the club. in other words, business as usual!

16.) Antonio going for 2 million is good business in my book.

Would just like us to re invest the money. Looks like were going for Stevie May which I think is good, if we can add Marshall, the french lad and personally i'd like to get Trecey back then I think that would be good work on our part.

Antonio hasn't delivered for me. He is too muscle bound now and hasn't made the step up from Div 1. Stunning bit of business if it happens IMO
