Surprised there's been no rumourmongering following SG's comments on his search for another striker.
I can't add to that - no idea who could be available ! Grant Holt has been missed !
In the meantime, how about abandoning the big man upfront approach, and trying Maguire alongside May. This would allow Drenthe to play wide with an extra man in midfield - bring Coke back !
However, SG still needs to educate his midfield to get in the box more regularly - they all seem frightened of getting a nose bleed !
Just wish we had't got Norwich next - they keep hammering sides but just can't score ( last night against Leeds was no exceptions, was it Andy MOT !! ). Hope they don't hit the goal trail against us on the back of the Watford pounding.

Good to hear from you pal, although I'm not surprised. Can't keep you Leeds fans quiet for one minute !
That's what makes your site so interesting - lots of good banter and some real comedians.
Our lot have gone very quiet of late - don't know whether it's nerves following our poor run of form, or there's not much to say anymore, what with a failed take-over and slide down the table, etc.
See you're still interested in our Tom ! He's doing just fine, in fact, starting to out shine Glen Loovens of late.
I've just sussed out that you must have been a real fan of his before he left Elland Road - hence your pen name Andy TOM - sorry, MOT. Lol

guess you didn't have enough time to figure out something better - but, if I'm right and you are travelling from Ireland for each match, you've got a good reason. That's dedication mate ! Only sorry you are having to put up with Cellino's antics ( listened to Collymore on the way home - he was really slating the guy ). At least you've now got Redfearn at the helm, who was previously, by all accounts, the choice of many. Stability is probably the key word for you now.
As for us, rubbish again today. Can you believe that our keeper had an even better game than at Elland road ! The lad is incredible !! Defence solid, midfield woefully weak, and forward line toothless. Going to be another tough season, despite a reasonably good start.
Wish my dad had taken me to watch rugby, or even hockey, when I was a kid instead of subjecting me to a life of misery ! Trouble is, I've done the same to my lad - he flew over from Jo'berg, S. Africa for the Millwall match
and didn't look happy as we drew yet again !!
Oh well, always the next game to look forward to !
Safe journey !

Nuhiu looked good until he was replaced by some old fat bloke.
Semedo was solid and Drenth caused problems when he came on.
To be fair though, we have had a tough run of games and Norwich are a decent side, but we just don't have that cutting edge or any creativity in the final third.

Agree with your assessment. SG created the problems late on by his substitutions - he took off Maguire & Nuhui who are both capable of holding up the ball. Once that happened, the ball just kept coming back at our defence and the pressure was intense !
Time to rest May. Time to bring back Coke ( Lee was lightweight yesterday ). Time to try Maguire up front with one of the big men - Madine deserved his place, although Nuhui did have a better game than in the previous few. Time to go 4-3-3 ? Time to start worrying !!!

Likewise, I agree that Coke should be in and May shouldn't.
Almost every one of their chances came from us losing the ball in the opposite half.
If we could cut out the stupid mistakes we would be a good championship side.
On another note, after yesterday's performance I was trying to work out why Westwood isn't a regular premiership GK and can only assume that it must be down to his height.
Absolutely amazing display and glad he is a short arse. ;)

Tks
Sleaford look on the bright side the performances can ONLY get better lol

We have Cellinio a crackpot, you wake up and NEVER know what today is going to bring, i'd rather that and his antics than Bates taking the club into admin AGAIN & AGAIN and feeding his greedy pockets ;)

You listened to Collymore a guy that beats women up uhhhh !! i'm shocked.
