Following latest statement it is now clear that :-
1. Delay is not due to the FL
2. " business interests elsewhere have hindered his ability to conclude the takeover "
3. Due diligence has been completed - so no worries now of a " skeleton " in our cupboard! The Liverpool disaster has been at the back of my mind for some time - possible financial liability here would have a bearing on the DD findings.
4. The club is still not in a position to complete the regulatory requirements set by the FL.
Suggests this relates perhaps to the share transfer, which appears not to have yet taken place.
5. MM still confident the takeover will take place.

My conclusions :
1. Either, we are not a priority ( as we would like ) for HM
or
Problems elsewhere are of such magnitude that he could
not proceed ( at present ).

As for me, well, still ever hopeful & I still trust in MM. However, very disappointed that we are starting the season understrength - all part of being an owl, I suppose!

A very rational assessment of what we know Sleaford - IMO.
NIce to see someone on here examining the facts instead of sharing their fantasies and nightmares with us.
Personally I do believe HM has had some big problems back home to deal with because he is a major businessman in key areas of the economy in Azerbaijan, and they have had some serious issues in the past few weeks.
Those problems would have been far removed from those invented by the gutter press in France which started all the concerns, but nevertheless they have taken his focus away from all his football interests in the short term. Which to anybody other than we football fans makes perfect sense?
Reasonable to assume that we, and his other football interests, are not his main priority. After all he has to make all the money elsewhere to be able to throw it away on his football interests!
But the RCLens situation has all but been resolved now, and I'm confident that we will follow shortly.
The futures bright - its blue & white (not orange, unless we adopt it for one of our future away strips!)

Think above points are reasonable, but you have underestimated onerous requirements for approval by FL. Go to site and take a look.

When you are front man for a governement in the likes of Azerjaiban very difficult to provide info football league require.

Mammadov met FL representatives on Friday and it was agreed what he was required to provide. They had hoped would allow through on Friday but FL stuck to their guns.

Mammadov has money, no worries about that.

What gets me why put money into buying us when he can fire it into team he owns, strange 1,

I see what you did their, fire, land of fire, very good,

Maybe there's more money to be made in taking a poor (and that's in every sense) championship club to the promised land of the premiership. Than there is in France or Azerbaijan?
