According to the Sunday papers we are after Danny Graham from Sunderland, after failing to get Hooper(Now injured) and Berbatov(Forgive spelling. So will wait to see it in the Star next week, when its been in every other paper/news channel. Not sure what his strike rate is recently.

Given Sunderland's miserable record of scoring and after reading comments on their site, Graham hardly inspires confidence. Works hard, doesn't score, want shut, on ridiculous wages, are the gist of the comments there.

Seen this too, think we should aim higher, does work hard but we already have that, would have been a dream a few years ago but think now we can do better.

Decent player and would want him, but he's the hard working type. I want a lazy, talented striker, who adds nothing to the team but goals.

We should stay well clear there's got to be a better option for the chairman to bring in if he's willing to pay the full wages

we should have paid the wages for Berbatov even at his age would score goals for fun in the champion without braking a sweat.

Graham is a transfer smoke screen. There is no way the same people who hired our current ace squad would ever consider such a lame donkey addition even if he paid subs.

If, as expected, Sunderland get a new manager very shortly, it is likely that he will want to see all the players before deciding who can go. This might lessen the chance of Graham leaving in the short term.
