Think most of us are glad we missed out on Best - hardly prolific - not even convinced SG wanted him back!
Hopefully, we can do much better.

I think Leon Best would've been a decent signing. Only my opinion. He scored a few goals in about 16 games last season and I think in a settled team with good service he would score goals.
I'm not been negative just seems a coincidence that a player we was rumoured with has signed for another club on the morning we was supposed to be hearing a decision on a player, leaving me wondering if Best was actually the player in question! oh well we move on and I'm sure we'll continue to improve on last season. UTO

The fact that he's gone to Derby suggests that SG has lined up somebody much better than him, that can't be bad news can it?

Why are people saying the takeover is off! In tonights Star, MM says stay calm everything is going through.
It's fine to be a rumour, but making things up, is just crazy!

Leon best would've been OK but no big loss. If he produced what he is capable of he'd be a great edition however we all know how lazy he can be especially with a new contract.
